In short
Turing is looking for a Digital Imaging Specialist and Digital Artist to work fully remotely on a full-time contract. You will edit and improve images, and create 2D and 3D visuals with a clear style and realistic textures. This may suit you if you have strong creative skills and enjoy careful, detailed work.
What you will do
- Edit, annotate and change existing images using briefs, references and guidelines.
- Retouch, composite and clean up images, and edit their backgrounds.
- Create textures, materials, objects, characters and scenes that keep a consistent style.
- Apply detailed feedback accurately, and document your workflows and style choices.
What you need to apply
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a 2D or 3D artist, or in a similar role.
- A strong portfolio that shows stylized 2D and 3D work and experiments with materials.
- The ability to recreate real-world materials and handcrafted-looking textures convincingly.
- Familiarity with non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) workflows, and useful plug-ins or scripts for After Effects, 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.
- Good written and spoken communication, plus a high level of attention to detail.
Who can apply
Applications are open worldwide, as no country restriction is stated. You need at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
My tip
Before you apply, make sure your portfolio clearly shows stylized 2D and 3D work with materials and textures, because a portfolio review comes first. We also suggest preparing for the short assessment, since it is part of the selection.
