In short
You would help build and launch AI systems that support important U.S. Government missions, from first prototype to working product. The work mixes engineering, model testing and direct work with government partners. It may suit you if you enjoy unclear problems and want full ownership of what you build.
What you will do
- Build and launch agentic AI systems, from early prototype to full production use.
- Design LLM applications, such as multi-agent systems and tools that AI agents can use.
- Work directly with government partners to turn their mission needs into technical systems.
- Build data pipelines and evaluation tools that help train and improve AI models.
- Own each system through its whole life, including design, security, reliability and updates.
What you need to apply
- Strong Python skills and experience taking projects from start to finish.
- Experience with LLMs and building agentic systems.
- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
- Ability to work on your own in unclear settings and feel at ease in high-security, high-reliability environments.
Who can apply
Only residents of the US can apply. The job is listed as hybrid and on site, so check that you can work in person.
My tip
We suggest you show real examples of AI systems you built and ran for users, and say clearly whether you hold a security clearance or would be willing to get one.
