In short
Mercor is looking for experienced musicians to judge music made by generative AI, working with a leading AI lab. You will listen to AI-made songs in many genres and score them against detailed quality rules, using German and English. This may suit songwriters, performers or music journalists who know the German music scene well.
What you will do
- Compare AI-written lyrics with existing published songs to spot similarities.
- Rate lyrics on quality, creativity, how well they follow the prompt, and originality.
- Check whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang and regional expressions.
- Assess AI-generated music across many genres against detailed quality standards.
What you need to apply
- Native or near-native German.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer or music journalist, with knowledge of the German music scene.
- Headphones or studio monitors suitable for careful listening.
