In short
micro1 is looking for aviation experts with commercial pilot or flight operations backgrounds to help train AI systems on a customer's project. You do not need prior AI experience, since your flying knowledge is what counts most. This may suit you if you already know instrument procedures well and enjoy checking detailed technical work.
What you will do
- Review in detail AI-generated text about instrument approaches and cockpit briefings.
- Check that FAA approach charts and terminal procedures mentioned in model answers are accurate and complete.
- Compare cockpit phraseology and briefings with Part 135 operational and safety standards.
- Judge, statement by statement, whether outputs follow IFR procedures and good flight operations practice.
- Write up your findings, give clear feedback, and suggest corrections to improve accuracy.
What you need to apply
- Preferred: FAA commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
- Preferred: current or past work as a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) or Part 135 check-airman.
- Good working knowledge of FAA approach charts, terminal procedures, and instrument approach briefings.
- Clear written and spoken English, with experience writing or reviewing technical documents.
Who can apply
The posting does not limit applicants by country, so you can apply from anywhere in the world. This is a freelance contract with 5 openings, paid at 40 to 100 USD per hour.
My tip
We suggest you name the charts, procedures, and briefing types you know best, and give one short example of a technical review you have done.
