In short
micro1 is looking for people who have worked in civilian intelligence, whether they work there now or did in the past. The job is remote, freelance, and paid from 50 to 120 USD per hour. It may suit experts who know how intelligence agencies really run, from daily operations to senior leadership.
What you will do
- Review AI-written texts and scenarios about intelligence agencies, their teams, their technology and their decisions.
- Judge whether AI answers are accurate, realistic and useful, based on what you saw in your own work.
- Write clear, evidence-based feedback on how agencies organize their responsibilities, workflows and decision-making.
- Spot mistakes, unrealistic ideas or missing parts, and suggest concrete fixes.
- Help write and review unclassified scenarios based on problems that civilian intelligence staff face.
What you need to apply
- Firsthand experience as a civilian working in a U.S. or allied intelligence agency is preferred, for example CIA, NSA, MI5 or GCHQ.
- Experience in areas such as intelligence operations, technology, program management, policy or senior leadership.
- A solid understanding of how civilian intelligence agencies are structured and how they operate day to day.
- Excellent written English, since most of your work will be written feedback.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, and the posting does not name any country restriction. It is designed for people with firsthand intelligence experience, so check that your background fits before you apply.
My tip
Before you apply, list two or three concrete examples from your past intelligence work, such as how a decision was made or how a team coordinated. Clear examples like these show the kind of judgment this role needs.
