In short
This remote freelance role at micro1 asks you to check and label drone and sea sensor images so AI systems can learn from them. You can work part-time or full-time, and pay is 30 to 60 USD per hour. It may suit you if you have a sharp eye and know this kind of imagery, even with no AI experience.
What you will do
- Check and correct boxes that an AI tool has drawn around objects in still drone and sea sensor images.
- Find and label objects that the AI missed.
- Label every image the same way, following the guidelines you are given.
- Send finished images through a secure Navy environment.
- Later, label video frames as the project grows.
What you need to apply
- Sharp attention to detail for repetitive work where accuracy matters most.
- Past work with data labeling, bounding boxes, or similar data preparation.
- Clear written and spoken English to report unclear cases and ask guideline questions.
- Comfort using labeling software, and willingness to learn new tools.
- Familiarity with aerial, sea, or sensor images, including daylight and thermal formats, is a plus.
Who can apply
You can apply if you live in the US, since the role is remote and based in the US. U.S. citizenship is preferred, and you should be able to get a DoD Common Access Card or be open to the sponsorship process.
My tip
We suggest you show a steady pace and careful work in your application, since pay depends on each image you submit. Also, check early that you can meet the citizenship and Common Access Card steps, because they matter for this role.
