In short
You would help build and run micro1's human data platforms, from backend services and data pipelines to the screens its experts use every day. The job is full time and fully remote. It may suit you if you enjoy Python, TypeScript and React, and if you want to work with AI coding tools every day.
What you will do
- Build features from start to finish, covering backend APIs, data pipelines and React frontends.
- Look after data delivery to clients, including exports, access control and platform reliability.
- Guide AI coding agents on several tasks at once, then check their work at the architecture level.
- Work with research engineers, operations and product to turn their needs into stable systems.
- Fix production problems and build systems that are easy to monitor and keep running.
What you need to apply
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0.5 years of software engineering experience, or strong shipped projects if you are a recent graduate.
- Solid skills in Python and TypeScript, with experience building apps using FastAPI or Flask and React.
- Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB or SQLite.
- Experience deploying services on GCP, AWS or Azure.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, with no country restriction stated, so you can apply from anywhere. Students may apply too.
My tip
We suggest you show a project where you used a coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, and explain how you checked its results.
