In short
You would review financial analyses for deals, such as due diligence and carve-out work, and check whether AI tools get them right. The role is a freelance contract, paid by the hour, and suits people who have spent years on transaction accounting and want to test AI in real work.
What you will do
- Review financial analyses for accuracy, completeness and supporting evidence.
- Spot unsupported adjustments, reconciliation problems, double counting and inconsistent accounting.
- Use AI agents to support your review, then check their outputs yourself.
- Help write task instructions and clear scoring rules for AI tests.
- Expect about 3 hours per task, after about 15 hours of initial setup.
What you need to apply
- At least 5 years of hands-on work in financial due diligence, transaction services or carve-out analysis.
- Direct responsibility for preparing or reviewing transaction analyses; audit experience or a CPA alone does not count.
- Real hands-on use of agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Claude Cowork; general chatbot use alone does not count.
- Available at least 10 hours per week, with 20 or more hours per week preferred.
Who can apply
You can apply if you live in Latin America, the US, Canada or the UK.
My tip
We suggest you describe specific transaction work you have done and how you have used agentic AI tools, since the screening questions and AI interview are how the client sees your expertise.
