Investment Banking & M&A Expert

In short

This is a remote freelance role on micro1 for an Investment Banking and M&A expert. You will help build realistic deal scenarios that test how well AI systems handle complex transaction work. It pays 60 to 120 USD per hour and may suit you if you have years of live deal experience and want to use it in a new way.

What you will do

• Build realistic deal setups with company information, financial statements, diligence files and deal context.
• Design multi-step tasks on valuation, comparable-company analysis, financial modeling and sell-side advisory.
• Use AI agents to create and review CIMs, pitch books and valuation models.
• Check the quality of the AI-made materials yourself before they are accepted.

What you need to apply

• At least 5 years of professional experience in investment banking, M&A or sell-side advisory.
• Hands-on work building valuation models, comparable-company analyses, CIMs and pitch books for live deals.
• Real experience with agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Claude Cowork. Basic chatbot use is not enough.
• Time for at least 10+ hours per week, with 20+ hours per week preferred.
