In short
You would help train and test AI on intelligence work and national security. The project is run by micro1 and is a freelance, remote job. It may suit you if you have worked in a civilian intelligence agency or know how such agencies operate, because the work is about checking whether AI gets these topics right.
What you will do
- Check AI-made scenarios about intelligence gathering, operational planning, and national security decisions.
- Judge whether the collection methods and operating steps described are accurate, realistic, and relevant.
- Review and improve case studies, analysis summaries, and other scenario materials.
- Spot gaps, contradictions, and unrealistic assumptions in AI content.
- Send clear, structured feedback to help AI reason better about intelligence work.
What you need to apply
- Current or past work in a civilian intelligence agency, such as the CIA, NSA, MI6/SIS, GCHQ, or a similar body (preferred).
- Known skills in HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or another intelligence collection field.
- Understanding of agency procedures, legal authorities, and how agencies work together.
- Experience in operational planning, collection requirements, or judging intelligence information.
- Good analytical judgment, attention to detail, and clear written communication.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, with no country restriction stated, so people from any country can apply. It is a remote freelance contract with 20 openings.
My tip
We suggest you name the agency work you have done and the collection disciplines you know, such as HUMINT or SIGINT, so reviewers can quickly see your fit.
