In short
micro1 is looking for Senior Flight Operations Experts to help train AI systems for a global aviation client. You do not need prior AI experience, because your aviation knowledge matters most. This freelance role pays 20 to 60 USD per hour and needs about 10 hours per week, so it suits experienced pilots and dispatchers who want flexible remote work.
What you will do
- Review real flight operations documents, such as instrument approach plates, flight plans, NOTAMs, weather packages and operations manuals.
- Give procedure briefings or spot operational problems, and explain your reasoning the way a captain or dispatcher would.
- Check flight planning materials for accuracy, clarity and compliance with Part 121, Part 135 and ICAO standards.
- Point out hazards or unclear points in approach procedures, operating documents and regulatory references.
- Give short written and spoken briefings, and send timely feedback to project coordinators.
What you need to apply
- An active or recently held Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License is preferred, with 5+ years of operational experience as a pilot or dispatcher.
- Solid experience briefing instrument approaches and reading operational documents.
- A good working knowledge of Part 121, Part 135 and ICAO rules.
- Clear written and spoken communication, with strong attention to detail.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, with no country restriction stated, so people from any country can apply. You work fully remotely and choose your own hours and days, including weekends if you wish.
My tip
We suggest you highlight your ATPL or dispatch experience and any airline or corporate flight operations work, since the posting values this highly.
