Legal Specialist (Microsoft Office User)

In short

micro1 is looking for legal professionals, such as lawyers, paralegals and compliance experts, to help train AI systems with real legal work. You would use your legal knowledge to write and check realistic case scenarios that help AI systems learn how legal work is done. It is a remote freelance role with 30 openings, a good fit if you have solid legal experience and enjoy careful, detailed work.

What you will do

• Write realistic, multi-step legal prompts based on everyday legal work, such as contract review, legal research and client memos.
• Write, review and improve legal content used to train and test AI models, checking accuracy and sound reasoning.
• Help create and score tests that check whether AI can spot legal issues, risks and fair conclusions in laws, cases and contracts.
• Use Microsoft 365, including Copilot, to create memos, summaries, redlines and trackers.
• Review AI answers to legal questions and turn your findings into clear advice on quality and improvement.

What you need to apply

• Proven professional experience in a legal role, such as attorney, paralegal or compliance specialist.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, especially Word with track changes and comparison tools, plus Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Copilot.
• Clear written and spoken English, with the ability to explain legal ideas to lawyers and non-lawyers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to give clear, consistent feedback.
• Bar admission or paralegal certification is a plus, depending on the role.
