In short
You would work on a freelance contract for micro1, using your legal knowledge to help train AI systems. The job is fully remote and centers on reviewing contracts, drafting sample clauses, and judging legal scenarios. If you are a lawyer who knows M&A, private equity, or contract work, this role may suit you, and no prior AI experience is needed.
What you will do
- Review, analyze, and comment on complex litigation and deal documents, such as contracts for M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
- Draft sample agreements and legal clauses based on your experience with large deals.
- Assess legal scenarios and write clear, structured comments that help AI models handle topics like data privacy and cross-border transactions.
- Work remotely with mixed teams to check accuracy in simulated legal tasks.
- Take part in repeated feedback rounds that improve training data and keep legal answers precise.
What you need to apply
- Preferably a JD from a US law school and active bar admission in good standing in the United States.
- Preferably experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or a similarly prestigious firm, especially in litigation and complex transactions.
- Strong written communication skills, so you can explain legal reasoning to different audiences.
- Good research, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, since no country restriction is stated. You must hold lawyer credentials, and the work is done as a freelance contractor.
My tip
We suggest giving concrete examples of your M&A, private equity, or data privacy work in your application, because the role values proven expertise and remote teamwork.
