In short
You would review legal analyses written by AI and judge whether the reasoning and advice hold up. The work centers on civil legal problems that affect everyday people, the kind that make access to justice hard. It may suit you if you are a lawyer with broad civil practice and pro bono experience and want to help make AI tools more accurate.
What you will do
- Read legal analyses written by AI.
- Check how the AI handles housing, family, consumer, foreclosure, and debt cases.
- Judge the legal reasoning and the step-by-step procedural guidance.
- Spot legal mistakes and access-to-justice issues, then write clear, structured feedback.
What you need to apply
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- An active admission to the U.S. bar.
- Experience in pro bono legal work, either managing it or taking part in it.
- A strong background in civil legal practice.
- Excellent legal writing and analysis skills.
Who can apply
Only residents of the US can apply, and you need the lawyer credential. The work is remote, on a freelance contract, and pays 170 USD per hour.
My tip
We suggest you name the civil cases you have handled, such as housing, family, debt, or consumer matters, and mention any pro bono work you have done, since these are the areas the review covers.
