In short
You would help write and check hard physics questions that help measure and improve AI systems, working as a freelance expert from home. It suits physicists who enjoy designing problems and checking them carefully, whether you are just starting out or have years of experience. 16 spots are open.
What you will do
- Write original multiple-choice physics questions that test real understanding, not just memory.
- Rate each question as Medium, Hard, or Expert difficulty.
- Write one correct answer and 9 wrong answers that look convincing to skilled solvers.
- Write clear step-by-step solutions in markdown, and find reliable academic sources for each question.
- Or review existing questions for accuracy and clarity, make edits, and note every change you make.
What you need to apply
- At least a Master's degree is required.
- A PhD or doctoral candidacy in physics, applied physics, astrophysics, or a closely related field is ideal.
- A strong grasp of graduate-level physics and its mathematics.
- Excellent written English that explains complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, with no country restriction stated, and is offered as a remote freelance contract. You need at least a Master's degree to apply.
My tip
We suggest preparing one sample question from your own specialty before you apply, with a clear answer and convincing wrong options, so you can show how you think about difficulty.
