Breast Imaging Radiologist

In short

Mercor is hiring breast imaging radiologists to help test how well AI reads real medical scans. This is not simple image labeling: your clinical judgment sets the reference standard that trains and checks the AI. It is a remote freelance contract paid 300 USD per hour, so it may suit experienced radiologists who want flexible work.

What you will do

• Read de-identified mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and breast MRI scans and write down the correct finding.
• Use the BI-RADS and related standards you already apply in your daily practice.
• Check AI-written reports and flag any that are wrong, unsupported or unsafe for patients.
• Write short, structured notes explaining your reasoning on accuracy, completeness and clarity.

What you need to apply

• An MD or DO from a medical school in the United States
• Board certification in ABR Diagnostic Radiology
• A completed breast imaging or women's imaging fellowship
• An active, unrestricted US medical license and at least 5 years of independent practice after training
