In short
This is a freelance job where you help an AI company test and improve its newest models. You work on everyday tasks on your own Mac, using apps and automations, and explain your steps as you go. It pays 50 to 60 USD per hour on a freelance contract, and may suit you if you already know macOS well.
What you will do
- Complete real tasks that use several apps at once on your Mac.
- Work through productivity and automation workflows from start to finish.
- Explain each step as you go, so your reasoning is clear.
- Help create high-quality training data for advanced AI models.
- Give around 10-20 hours per week to the project.
What you need to apply
- Own a MacBook or a Mac with an Apple M-series chip or an Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher.
- Know macOS and its apps well, including keyboard shortcuts and system settings.
- Have built automations with tools such as Shortcuts, Automator, AppleScript, Zapier, or shell scripts.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience, or be a current or recent Master's student.
- Communicate clearly in writing and speaking, and explain your reasoning well.
Who can apply
The job is open to people from anywhere in the world, since no country restriction is stated. You need at least 2 years of experience, but students may apply too.
My tip
Check that your Mac runs macOS 15 or higher before you apply, because applicants without a Mac cannot be considered. The process includes a short 3-minute conversation with an AI interviewer, so practice explaining your reasoning clearly.
