Investment Banking Expert

In short
You know investment banking from the inside, and this remote role asks you to put that judgment to work for AI research teams. The job is to build models, check outputs made by AI, and explain in writing where they go wrong. It may suit you if you have built financial models or written deal materials yourself, and you can explain why you made each call.
What you will do
- Build a three-statement model and an LBO from a set of company filings, then write the grading rules that show when an AI model's attempt is wrong.
- Review comps and precedent transactions made by AI, and explain where the multiple, the calendar adjustment, or the peer group is off.
- Grade AI-drafted CIM and pitch materials against what a senior banker would send, and write the reasoning behind each point you take off.
What you need to apply
- At least 3 years of professional experience in financial modeling, valuation, or deal work.
- Clear written communication, because most of the work means explaining your reasoning.
- Comfort with unclear tasks and a habit of pointing out instructions that don't make sense.
Who can apply
The role is open worldwide, with no country restriction stated in the posting. It is part time and fully remote, and you need at least 3 years of experience to apply.
My tip
Show in your resume that you built the models and wrote the materials yourself, and say how recently you did it. Pay is set per project, so past rates of 100 to 130 USD per hour are a guide, not a promise.
