In short
You would help check how well AI health tools answer anesthesiology questions, working with a leading AI lab through Mercor. This suits doctors who know anesthesia well and enjoy careful, detailed review. The work is remote, freelance, and offers flexible part-time hours.
What you will do
- Read patient records that have had personal details removed, so no one can be identified.
- Judge AI answers to anesthesia questions by checking them against each patient record.
- Choose which of two AI responses is stronger.
- Write short, organized notes explaining your reasoning on accuracy, completeness and clarity.
- Point out any error that could put a patient's safety at risk.
What you need to apply
- An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in ABA Anesthesiology, through an ABMS member board or the AOA.
- An active, unrestricted US medical license, and you must be practicing and seeing patients in the US.
- Finished residency (plus fellowship if your specialty requires it) and at least 1 year of independent practice after training; 3+ years of post-training experience is strongly preferred.
- Clear written communication and close attention to detail.
Who can apply
The posting does not limit applicants by country, so it is open worldwide. Still, you need an active, unrestricted US medical license and current practice in the US to qualify.
My tip
Before you apply, have your license, board certification and training details ready, since credential checks are part of the process. We suggest preparing to talk about your background, experience and motivations in a 25-minute conversational interview.
