Inpatient Coder (CCS)

In short

You can work remotely as an Inpatient Coder (CCS) through micro1 on a freelance contract. You will earn between 50 and 70 USD per hour while helping train AI systems and improving clinical data quality.

What you will do

• Review inpatient medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical notes and summaries against coding standards
• Resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding
• Enter patient information into medical record databases

What you need to apply

• Active certification such as CCS, CIC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT
• ICD-10 coding experience
• Access to official ICD-10 and CPT coding books and E&M guidelines
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week
