In short
Mercor is looking for geriatricians to check how AI tools answer medical questions about older patients. The work is remote, paid at 150 USD per hour on a freelance contract, and there are 2 openings. It may suit doctors who know elderly care well and enjoy careful, detailed review work.
What you will do
- Check AI answers to questions about older patients for accuracy, safety and current medical standards.
- Compare two AI responses and choose the stronger one, using the patient chart as your reference.
- Write short, structured notes that explain your judgment on rigor, completeness and clarity.
- Point out any error that could put a patient's safety at risk.
What you need to apply
- An MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Geriatric Medicine (ABIM or ABFM, or through the AOA).
- An active, unrestricted US medical license.
- At least 1 year of independent practice after training.
- Clear written communication and close attention to detail.
Who can apply
Only residents of the US may apply. You must also be practicing and seeing patients in the US.
My tip
We suggest having your resume ready and thinking about your experience and reasons for applying, since the 25-minute conversational interview covers exactly those topics.
