Mercor is hiring psychiatrists to check health AI tools for a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge how well AI answers clinical psychiatry questions. If you are a practicing US psychiatrist with clinical experience, this remote freelance role lets you use your clinical expertise to help shape AI health tools that doctors and patients will rely on.
What you will do
- Review AI answers to psychiatry questions and check whether they are medically correct, safe, and up to date with current care guidelines.
- Compare each answer with the patient chart and pick the better of two responses.
- Write short, structured notes explaining your view on accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
- Point out any mistake that could put a patient at risk.
What you need to apply
- An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in psychiatry from the ABPN, through an ABMS member board or the AOA.
- An active, unrestricted US medical license.
- Completed residency, plus a fellowship if your specialty requires one, and at least 3 years of experience.
- Clear written communication and careful attention to detail.
