Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning (African American)

In short

You would help build new text-to-speech systems that make computer voices sound natural and expressive. The work is remote, freelance, and open on an ongoing basis, so it can suit beginners and experienced voice actors, as well as people who have worked in customer support.

What you will do

• Record voice samples from many kinds of scripts, such as conversations, stories, and instructions.
• Speak clearly and naturally, controlling tone, pace, and pronunciation.
• Keep your voice, accent, and delivery consistent from one session to the next.
• Follow detailed rules on your recording space, microphone, and file format.
• Do several takes with different emotions, emphasis, and styles when asked.

What you need to apply

• Be based in the USA and have a natural African American English speaking style.
• Have a clear, expressive voice. Past voice acting or customer-support experience helps but is not required.
• Own a good microphone and record in a quiet room, ideally with a pop filter.
• Be available for one session of about 4 hours, and possibly a second session of similar length.
• Be comfortable with your voice being cloned for the client's CX AI agent.
