In short
This job asks you to record your voice for a company building AI voices that sound natural and human. It suits professional voice actors, people with customer service or call center experience, and newcomers with a clear voice and a good recording setup. Your voice may later power a customer support AI agent.
What you will do
- Record voice samples in several styles, such as conversation, narration, and step-by-step instructions.
- Speak with a clear, natural tone, steady pace, and correct pronunciation.
- Keep your voice, accent, and delivery the same across recording sessions.
- Follow the recording rules for your room, microphone, and audio file format.
- Do several takes with different emotion, emphasis, or style when asked.
What you need to apply
- Be a native Canadian French speaker living in Canada, able to speak neutral international French without a strong regional accent.
- Have a clear, expressive voice. Voice acting or customer service experience helps but is not required.
- Own a good microphone and work in a quiet room, with a pop filter if possible.
- Be free for one recording session of about 4 hours, and possibly a second one of similar length later.
- Be comfortable with your voice being cloned for the client's AI agent.
Who can apply
Only residents of Canada may apply. Students are welcome to apply too.
My tip
We suggest you check that you are comfortable with voice cloning before you apply, since your voice may be cloned for this AI agent. Then, test your recording setup so you can show a clean, expressive sample of your French.
