This is a remote, freelance role for a Cantonese Quality Assurance Lead with SME Careers, a company that supplies training data for AI projects. What you will do
- Review Traditional Chinese content for Hong Kong users and rate it against project guidelines.
- Give clear written feedback and flag recurring or serious problems.
- Answer questions from trainers and QA reviewers about wording, punctuation and cultural context.
- Help onboard new contributors and run training calls.
- Write and update style guides, FAQs and other project documents.
What you need to apply
- A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chinese, Linguistics, Translation, Education or Quality Assurance.
- Native or near-native Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong, with strong reading and writing skills.
- Good Cantonese and a solid knowledge of Hong Kong written Chinese, including local terms and tone.
- Strong English for giving feedback and working with teams.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in language review, editing, translation, localization or AI training.

This role is open only to residents of Hong Kong. Pay is 40 USD per hour under a freelance contract, and the work is remote.
